Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012
United States Congressman Rob Bishop (R-Utah) will address students Thursday, Oct. 11, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at Utah State University. The presentation is part of “Pizza & Politics” hosted by the Utah State University College Republicans. The event will be held in the USU Merrill-Cazier Library’s auditorium, Room 101.
Bishop will speak to the audience and following his remarks the audience has the opportunity to ask questions on issues that affect Cache Valley residents and students on a local and national level, according to student organizers.
A “mix and mingle” will follow, if time allows.
“We’re in the height of political season,” said Casey Saxton, president of the USU College Republicans. “This this will be a great opportunity to get some insight from the man who represents us in Congress.”
All students, alumni, faculty, staff and public are invited to attend; there is no cost for admission and pizza will be provided free of charge.
