Flu shots are available on the Utah State University Logan campus Tuesday, Sept. 24, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Taggart Student Center Stevenson Ballroom and Tuesday, Oct. 15, from noon-5 p.m. at the Innovation Campus Space Dynamics Lab.

At the recommendation of the Center for Disease control, everyone over the age of 6 months is encouraged to protect themselves against the seasonal flu. FluMist is an option for ages 2-49. Those who want the FluMist option should fill out the flu mist questionnaire found online in the flu shot section (www.brhd.org) and bring the completed form to the flu shot clinic.

The clinic is organized by USU’s Office of Human Resources, which encourages everyone to “Be Well.” Flu Shots are FREE to USU benefit-eligible employees and their eligible dependents. Those interested are asked to pre-register online.

Remember:

  • Register yourself and ALL dependents receiving a flu shot at the clinic
  • Bring your BCBS insurance card to the Flu Shot Clinic

Those unable to attend the USU Flu Shot Clinic are welcome to go to a pharmacy within the provider’s network. A list of chain and independent pharmacies that are in the network can be found online. Those going to a pharmacy are reminded to take their BCBS insurance card. Shots given at one of these providers are FREE.

Questions can be addressed to Dayna Barrett (435) 797-8519, dayna.barrett@usu.edu or Marla Boyer, (435) 797-5475, marla.boyer@usu.edu.
