Multiple USU choirs perform in the annual "Autumn Voices" concert Tuesday, Oct. 8, 7:30 p.m., USU Performance Hall.

Utah State University choirs present the annual fall concert Autumn Voices for all to enjoy Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 7:30 p.m. in the Performance Hall on USU’s Logan campus.

“Celebrate the fall season with beautiful choral music performed by USU students,” said Cory Evans, director of the choral program and professor in the Caine College of the Arts (CCA).

The concert features the USU Chamber Singers, Chorale and Women’s Choir.

The Chamber Singers will perform music from around the world, including Autumn Landscapes by Veljo Tormis of Estonia, and celebrate the release of the group’s new CD, Devotion, a collection of contemporary sacred choral music.

The University Chorale will perform Five Hebrew Love Songs by Eric Whitacre and The Eternal Gates by Howard Helvey.

New director Sylvia Munsen will lead the Women’s Choir as it performs Will There Really Be a Morning? by Craig Hella Johnson.

“This concert features rousing spirituals and the regional premiere of Helvey’s The Eternal Gates,” said Evans. “Get your tickets early because we always sell out quickly.”

Tickets for Autumn Voices are $10 adults, $8 seniors and youth, $5 USU faculty and staff and free for USU students with ID. For tickets or more information, visit the CCA Box Office in room 139-B of the Chase Fine Arts Center on USU’s campus, call 435-797-8022 or see the college’s Production Services website.
