Utah State University alum Lars Peter Hansen, one of three Americans recently named as a recipient of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Economics, will appear on Utah Public Radio’s public affairs program Access Utah Thursday, Nov. 14, at the program’s 9 a.m. air time.

Professor Hansen, a Cache Valley native who now teaches at the University of Chicago, will share his feelings on winning the Nobel Prize and will discuss his research. He will also talk about the recent housing bubble, and government regulation of markets.

Utah Public Radio is a part of the Department of Journalism and Communication in the USU College of Humanities and Social Sciences. UPR is a statewide service of Utah State University and is heard over most of Utah through its network of five stations and 30 translators.
