For the second consecutive season, Utah State's men and women's track & field teams will take part in the Mt. San Antonio College Relays at the Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut, Calif. The Aggies will compete from Wednesday to Friday, Apr. 16-18.

Action at the Mt. SAC Relays will begin for the Aggies on Wednesday with junior Chari Hawkins competing in the heptathlon. Thursday's competition will begin with the men's 3,000m steeplechase at 5:00 p.m. (MT) and finish at 10:15 p.m. (MT) with the women's 10,000m. Action Friday will start at 9:00 a.m. (MT) with the men's 110m hurdles and hammer throw and women's javelin and pole vault. The meet will wrap up on Friday with the women's 5,000m at 10:09 p.m (MT).

"We're looking forward to competing at the Mt. SAC relays," said Aggie veteran head coach Gregg Gensel. "It's one of those events where they have some of the greatest athletes in the world competing, so our athletes can keep up their competition and strive to be greater than they already are."

The full schedule for the Mt. SAC Relays can be found online. A recap, including Utah State results will be posted to www.UtahStateAggies.com following this weekend’s action.

Last weekend, USU garnered a total of nine event titles in the state of Utah. On Friday, the Aggies won five events at the University of Utah-hosted Utah Spring Classic. Utah State wrapped up the weekend at the Weber State Innovation Invitational, where they collected four event titles.
