Symposium: Events


There are two formats to present your research at the Intermountain Graduate Research Symposium: Oral Presentation and Poster. Registration for either the poster session or oral presentation is $20.00. Secondary submission for either category is $10.00¹. Registration fee includes breakfast and lunch.
 

Oral Presentations

20 minutes is allotted to each oral presentation, and session times will be announced shortly. A laptop and projector will be provided at each presentation session. Presentation files can be uploaded at morning registration. 1st and 2nd place cash prizes will be awarded to each college category².
1st Place: $150
2nd Place: $100
 

Poster Session

Poster Session will be held from 12:45 – 2:00 PM. 1st and 2nd place cash prizes will be awarded to each college/category².
1st Place: $175
2nd Place: $125






¹ Cash prizes cannot be awarded to the same individual in two separate categories. The highest amount will be awarded.

² Non-USU students are encouraged to apply and participate. Categories are based on USU colleges. The category most similar to your area of research should be chosen. Further information and questions can be directed to symposium organizers at intermountainsymposium@gmail.com
