Welcome

The GSS continues to grow and define its role in USU student government. With growth comes new ideas, new solutions, and plenty of changes. One of the biggest changes that lies ahead is the election of GSS Senators. In the past, Senators have been selected by their respective Deans to serve on the GSS. This process has proven to be a challenge in many ways. Holding elections for the Senate seats will be an exciting opportunity for graduate students and provide a solution to many of these challenges.

While following in the footsteps of ASUSU's elections, we expect GSS elections to be an informal, low-key process aimed at increasing awareness and involvement in the GSS. As the process takes shape, all pertinent information will be found on the GSS website for anyone interested in becoming one of the first elected GSS Senators at USU. Everyone is encouraged to get involved, have fun, and be part of history in the making!
