The student advocate will address student concerns with the appropriate staff, faculty or administration member and also brings student concerns to local and state government officials. The student advocate strives to bring awareness to issues affecting students and leads initiatives to improve the quality of student life. Resources and programs provided by the Student Advocate Vice President's office include:
- Student Advocacy
- Student Legal Services
- myVoice Program
- Government Relations
- Student Lobbying
- Excellence in Student Advocacy & Support Award
