Our next meeting of the Utah Grazinglands Network (BOARD OF DIRECTORS) will be held at the USDA/BOR Building, in Provo (302 E. 1860 S.), (approximately 3:00 p.m.) on Friday, 2 August 2002, following the joint UGN/Utah Cattlemen Summer Tour of riparian improvements and water delivery concerns in the Spanish Fork area.  Meet at the Hampton Inn in Provo (1511 S. 40 E.) at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, 2 August, for the tour.  Be sure to pack a lunch!  The tour will be over early in the afternoon.  The UGN coalition will meet at the USDA-BOR Building at 302 E. 1860 S. in Provo (a few blocks roughly east of the mall at the south end of town) after the tour.  If you are attending the meeting but not the tour, you could  call Ken Mills on his cell phone (801-710-3708) for an approximate starting time.  The Core4 Pilot Project and retreat at Deseret L&L will be the main agenda items.  Your continued involvement with the Utah GLCI, Inc., dba Utah Grazinglands Network, is needed and appreciated.

UGN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING - 9:00 a.m., 4 September 2002, Utah Farm Bureau Building,
9865 S. State, Sandy.

UGN CORE4 PILOT PROJECT STRATEGY RETREAT - 1:00 p.m., 30 September 2002, to 12:00 noon, 1 October 2002, at Deseret Land & Livestock in Rich Co. (Woodruff or is it Randolph?).  This is an important event for UGN's future.  This will be a retreat to put together the strategy for UGN participation in a national Core4 Pilot Project (more details to come).  Please make arrangements to be there!  Let Bill or Ken Mills know if you can attend so that Deseret has a head count for planning.  Arrangements may need to be made for overflow.
