Rabies testing is performed by the Unified Public Laboratories (UPL) – SLC, UT
If shipping directly to UPL, send brain only.

Any bat where a person or animal has had exposure or there is reasonable probability of exposure.

Head only - $15.00 for brain removal + shipping costs.
 
Entire animal up to 100 lbs - - $35.00 for brain removal and body disposal + shipping costs.
 
Entire animal 101-200 lbs - - $55.00 for brain removal and body disposal + shipping costs.
 
Entire animal over 200 lbs - - $100.00 for brain removal and body disposal + shipping costs.
Stray or unknown vaccination history that exposes a person if signs suggestive of rabies are not documented or animals have not been confined for at least 10 days.

Vaccinated animal that exposes a person if signs suggestive of rabies are not documented or animals have not been confined for at least 10 days.
