The S.T.A.R. Program gets U.S.U. students into an elementary classroom for an hour each week. We are currently participating with eight elementary schools in the Cache Valley and four after school programs called the Boys and Girls Club. The primary goal of this program is to expose children to quality literature and help them gain a love for reading. In addition, we want to help students increase their math skills in a world where technology is abundant. The teachers, students and volunteers all benefit from the service of this program. |
