When we all get involved, invasive weeds
have fewer places to hide. More eyes are trained to recognize the invaders. Fewer new
infestations are started because people recognize how to discourage weed spread. Our
collective efforts make weed management easier for professionals.
Communities are finding better ways to control invasive weeds through Cooperative Weed Management Areas (CWMA), partnerships, and non-profit organizations. We can help in these community efforts, learn to identify invasive weeds, and practice key weed prevention measures.
