Student Spotlight

Rachael is an Anthropology major with a cultural emphasis.  She is from American Fork, Utah and has lived in Logan and gone to USU since 2006.  She loves to learn about world cultures and religions, especially earth-centered traditions and women' spirituality. Her other interests include archeaology, Native American studies, gender roles and feminism, and women's health.

Rachael is also the co-president of the 'Perspectives' club which is sponsored by the Center for Women and Gender.  Last spring she won in the Women's History Month Student Showcase in the category of Social Science Research for her paper on the feminine divine.

She will be graduating in Spring of 2012, and hopes to go to graduate school so she can complete field work. She enjoys biking, traveling, good cups of joe, watching 30 rock, and hanging out with her boyfriend.
