Change the Future....

The Women's Resource Center provides financial assistance to reentry and traditional students. WRC brings programming to the campus that serves to educate campus and community on gender issues that are especially important to women. The Center has been a place where women could identify and search out programs, assistance, and each other. It has always served to bridge the gap between the diverse elements and cultures in Cache Valley and society. Lives have been changed because of a program, a scholarship, or connecting with others.

Donors are the foundation on which the Women's Center scholarships has grown. From a $25 donation given to then Dean Helen Lundstrom in 1974 to help a woman come back to school, our Financial Assistance Program has grown to over 2 million dollars. We use the interest from donor endowments as well as annual donations to provide scholarships to reentry and traditional women and men and to ensure the longevity of the scholarship program. Last year we provided scholarships for 87 women and men who otherwise would not have had the opportunity to attend school.
