Financial Assistance

Childcare Stipend

Deadlines for the stipend are the 5th week for midterms and the 12th week for finals.

Application for 2010-2011 will be available on January 12, 2010
Application due date will be March 31, 2010.

This successful program has been in operation since the Women's Center opened in 1974. The program helps students realize their educational goals by providing financial assistance. Reentry students, particularly women, often encounter obstacles as they make the transitions involved in returning to school. The awards have not only monetary value, but also represent a source of support and encouragement.

Funds for awards are made available through individual donations and tuition waivers from the University. Please read the scholarship criteria carefully to determine the specific requirements for each scholarship. Scholarships are different. Some are open to men and women, some do not require reentry status and some have specific GPA requirements. It is to your advantage to carefully consider each set of requirements.
