Mission Statement
TheWomen’s Center for Lifelong Learning exists because of all USU women. We provide information and assistance as women empower themselves in their pursuit of individual and collective goals. The Women’s Center strives to create an atmosphere in which all people are free to affirm and celebrate their differences, including but not limited to differences of gender, race, sexual orientation, class, age, religion, and physical and mental ability. The Center serves as an advocate for women. We provide programming, space, and support to enhance the growth of women throughout the university; advocate removing barriers and enriching the campus by providing interdisciplinary forums and events for women’s cultural, spiritual, intellectual, and social lives. The Center facilitates the exchange of information for personal and professional development for women students, faculty and staff. The Center generates sources of financial aid and administers a financial assistance scholarship program.
