My Teaching Philosophy:

Piano has always been a passion of mine. I have found in my life that so much of my joy, confidence and friendships have come through music.  I feel as a teacher I have a responsibility to share my knowledge and love of music so other's can enjoy the benefits and happiness it can bring.  In my teaching I recognize that every student is different and each child deserves a specialized and individual approach in order to be successful.  It is my priority as a teacher to first, have the student enjoy creating music at the piano and second, be a well rounded musician in technique, theory and aural skills.  When these two aspects are combined I believe that every student has the potential to become proficient and also enjoy the gift of music.
