Mountain Plains Regional Resource Center We are a U.S Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs funded project that helps build the capacity of State Education Agencies and Lead Agencies in improving programs and services for infants, toddlers, children and youth with disabilities. The MPRRC is part of Technical Assistance for Excellence in Special Education (TAESE), which is the technical assistance division of the Center for Persons with Disabilities at Utah State University.

AnnouncementsDr. Marty Blair has joined the MPRRC staff as a one half time program specialist. Dr. Blair also serves as the TAESE Assistant Director at .25 time. Dr. Blair is an expert in special education policy issues; he is known for his knowledge in assistive technology and systems change. Dr. Blair will assist MPRRC States in the areas of general supervision, SPP, APR, and levels of determination.
The Mountain Plains Regional Resource Center will host a regional meeting for Part C and Part B clients to address SPP/APR data issues and timely correction of non-compliance. The meeting is December 11-12 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Learning Disabilities Association of America will be holding its 46th Annual International Conference in Salt Lake City this coming February. For more information, check out: http://www.ldaamerica.org/conference/index.asp. |
