BEEHIVE ARCHIVE

The Utah Humanities Council, a Utah History Fair partner, sponsors a weekly two minute radio program featuring both obscure and well known Utah historical facts. The Beehive Archive is not only a great resource, but also provides another venue to look for ideas and research concerning History Fair projects. The Beehive Archive lists both the primary and secondary sources used for the research of each radio program, making it an incredible new resource for the History Fair.

You can hear the Beehive Archive on Utah Public Radio statewide on Fridays at 9:30 A.M and repeated at 7:30 P.M. Along the Wasatch Front, listen to the Beehive Archive on KCPW (FM 88.3/105.3, AM 1010) between 8:30 and 8:45 on Fridays. Or you can listen to any program whenever you like at the Utah Humanities Council Web site, just click on the following link to the Beehive Archive

Finally, Elaine Thatcher, Director of the Mountain West Center for Regional Studies at Utah State University, and Nicholas Demas, Director of the Utah History Fair, will join Brandon Johnson, Program Officer for the Utah Humanities Council, in bringing the Beehive Archive to the radio and the internet in February 2008.
