COLLEGE OF HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES

Many alumni agree that individual mentoring from a caring faculty member was the single most valuable part of their college experience.

In an effort to promote more mentoring opportunities for current students, The College of Humanities and Social Sciences sponsors a Faculty-Student Mentorship program to expand on opportunities outside of the classroom. This program provides students and faculty members with stipends while they work together on real-world research projects. Additionally, each project receives funds to support expenses such as traveling to an archive to conduct research or conference registration fees where the faculty member and student can present their findings together.
