Graduates from Utah State University leave with so much more than a college degree. Our students leave having experienced the thrill of winning a national student competition, the opportunity to work side-by-side with faculty in research labs, and internships throughout Utah, across the US, and around the world. These are the experiences that prepare students like Emily Cottam to become leaders in their field.
Many Aggies don't realize how critical their financial gifts are to Utah State. Private support for higher education is more important than ever and it's the reason USU is able to deliver exceptional education and keep tuition affordable. Gifts to the university provide scholarships to more than 5,000 students per year.

Favorite thing about USUThe care and guidance that I have received from the faculty has been invaluable; they have helped and encouraged me to take advantage of the many opportunities that are available to enrich my university education.
What Scholarships have done for me
The aid that I have received from scholarships has provided me with the ability to focus on my studies and take full advantage of what USU has to offer. I would not have had the chance to work with a number of performing ensembles, study across art disciplines, or even have the means apply to graduate schools without financial aid. I will be forever grateful to those who choose to help and invest in the dreams of students like me.
