A capped attendance of 30 faculty members from several different departments and colleges across USU’s system attended this year’s E-Learning Workshop. The three-day event provided a deep dive into the teaching tools and methodologies of online, broadcast, blended, and flipped classroom instruction. In segmented groups, faculty analyzed and compared their own teaching techniques with those presented at the event.

Each day focused on a different aspect of higher education teaching. Day one covered e-learning pedagogy and course mapping. Day two featured breakout sessions on technology tools with interactive sessions on student engagement. Day three covered course implementation and assessment practices, with opportunities for attendees to provide feedback to USU’s e-learning instructional support team.
