Data Informed Decisions

Each year the Curriculum Committee reviews the assessments with the Director of Undergraduate Education and the Department Head. The assessment data are then presented to and discussed with the Biology Faculty at a yearly department retreat. Time is set aside at the annual department retreat to discuss the assessments and results, provide training on the assessment rubrics, and decide on further actions to improve our course offerings based on this data and faculty discussion. A summary of these conversations and decisions for each year is provided below.
