USU undergraduate Rachel Tong was selected as the STEM 2024-2025 recipient of the University Honors Programs Joyce Kinkead Outstanding Capstone Award for her Capstone thesis “Evaluating the Stress System of the Grieving Brain: Corticotropin-Releasing Factors and Partner Loss in Female Coyotes.” Her mentor, Dr. Sara Freeman, was presented with a Distinguished Honors Capstone Mentor Award.
