Dennis Dolny Memorial 5k fundraiser

Student Activities

Dennis Dolny, beloved head of the Kinesiology and Health Science (KHS) department, suffered a stroke and passed away on Tuesday, January 9th. Dr. Dolny was an extraordinary leader of both the KHS and Nursing and Health Professions departments at USU. Throughout the departments, the university, and the community, we feel the loss of his passion and guidance. In honor of Dr. Dolny's legacy, this event will be a 5K scholarship fundraiser open to the public. The funds will be used to provide scholarships in his name to students in the KHS department. The 5K will be held on April 21, 2018 at the Steve and Dona Reeder Cross Country Course on the corner of 1400 North and 1200 East in Logan. Registration will go from 8-8:45 and the race will begin at 9 am. There will also be a raffle at the event, such as horseback riding in Moab, Aggie gear, and many other exciting prizes. Come and help raise money to create scholarships for USU students in honor of Dennis.
