Snowshoe Tour of the Preserve

Recreation

Join us for a nature walk on the Preserve! During this tour, you will learn about the history and ecology of the Preserve as well as what kinds of plants and animals you will find on the Swaner Preserve. Additionally, you will have time to search for and identify animal tracks and other signs of wildlife. This outing is appropriate for all ages and will take place on generally flat terrain with a slight uphill grade.

Snowshoes can be rented from the EcoCenter if needed - $2.50 for members, $5 for non-members

Community Art Days: The Art of Clean Air

Create artwork to inspire us to keep Utah's air healthy! We will be celebrating the finalists of the Utah High School Clean Air Poster Contest by displaying their artwork and making some of our own. We will announce the winners of the poster contest and refreshments will be served. All ages welcome, free and open to the public.

A Lie of the Mind

After a severe incident of spousal abuse, two families' lives are altered until the final collision point at an isolated cavin. The families are linked by the marriage of their childre, Jake and Beth. Beth is recuperating at her parents' home after Jake's abuse sends her to the hospital. A Lie of the Mind explores the families' dysfunction and love as they deal with Beth's brain damage and follows Jake on his search for meaning in life.
