Call for 2025 Presidential Award Nominations
Ceremony/Awards/Celebration
Each year, USU recognizes the work of outstanding faculty, staff, students, partners, and alumni that exemplifies collaboration between USU and the greater community and demonstrates ongoing commitment to community engagement and positive social change. The Center for Community Engagement has three prestigious awards for students, faculty, and community members who are committed to outstanding service: The Presidential Award, the Ivory Prize, and the Val R. Christensen Service Scholarship. Deadline for nominations Saturday, March 15, 2025, 11:59pm. Award ceremony takes place Wednesday, April 16, 2025 5pm-5pm in TSC Lounges.

Exhibition
In celebration of 50 years of the undergraduate research program at Utah State University, the Office of Research presents a landmark exhibition showcasing the innovative work of undergraduate researchers across all disciplines. From microscopy images to engineering prototypes, artistic interpretations to scientific specimens, this curated collection demonstrates how undergraduate research at USU has impacted student lives and our understanding of the world since 1975.

Public Domain Day
Special Event
Public domain refers to works of art, literature, music, and other intellectual property that are no longer protected by copyright law and are free for anyone to use. Come celebrate Public Domain Day at our tabling event in the library’s main atrium from January 22 - 23! We’ll have a fun, informative table where you can learn more about the public domain, its importance, and how it benefits everyone. Plus, we’ll have snacks and we'll even help you make your own button featuring images from works that are now in the public domain! Whether you’re curious about copyright law, a history buff, or just love free resources, stop by to see us!

In partnership with several campus and community organizations, USU Athletics is proud to host the second annual Aggie Walk the Walk event. This walk honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and serves as the centerpiece of Aggie Walk the Walk Week. The week is designed to inspire reflection on our civic responsibility—both as individuals and as a collective—toward promoting the common good for every member of the Aggie Family, Cache Valley, and the State of Utah.
