This exhibition runs October 6-31 in the Tippetts & Eccles Galleries. The galleries are open M–F from 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Lake Powell Kayaking
Recreation
We are heading down south to the amazing red rock and blue waters of Lake Powell to explore some of its many side canyons in sea kayaks. We will pack our kayaks with our gear and spend two nights camping on the lake. Participants must be able to swim and comfortable in open water. Trip cost includes sales tax, food, transportation, kayak equipment, tent, sleeping bag, pad and student leadership
Legacy of Val Day of Service: Whittier Community Center Carnival
Student Activities
Help us honor the legacy of Val Christensen by assisting at the oldest community Halloween carnival in the valley! We will be in charge of a glow stick dance area at the Whittier Community Center's annual free carnival for kids. Volunteers in the morning can help set up the stage, and volunteers in the afternoon will hand out glow sticks, manage music, and dance with kids as they come and go from the stage. EcoLunch
Social/Networking
Ecolunch is a weekly lunch for grad students in the various ecology and natural resources related departments where we host activities, discussions, and workshops. All QANR and Ecology-Center graduate students are invited to attend.

Ice cream will be served by Dr. Mehmet Soyer as Marx, Dr. Stephen Vangeem as Weber, and Dr. Jason Leiker as Durkheim! Eat some ice cream and discuss with past famous sociologists! We'll see you there!

Feel Good Fridays are a space for students to learn about resources, build community, win prizes, and feel good! We will be hosting activities like friendship bracelet making, journaling, yoga and more!
