The Art of Fashion: Designs Inspired by NEHMA
Exhibition
Apparel Design students in FCSE 3040: Patternmaking, will be showcasing their half-scale fashion designs inspired by artwork currently on display at the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art (NEHMA). A reception for the designers will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 2-4pm at NEHMA. The student's work can been seen from November 8-24 at NEHMA.
State LGBT Policy Environment and Health among LGBT Adults

Recent state-level legislation targeting LGBT people has heightened concerns about the physical and mental health of LGBT people. Drawing on multiple sources of data, this talk will consider the impact that state-level LGBT policy environments have on the health outcomes of LGBT adults.

Maker Space Workshop - Sheet Metal Fabrication
Workshop/Training
Come learn about sheet metal fabrication! This 30-minute workshop is designed to introduce you to some basic machines used for sheet metal. We will practice bending, shearing, and riveting sheet metal. Sign up for the time slot that works best for you! Spots are limited and must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance.
