Alternative Spring Break: Community Food Access

Make a difference during your Spring Break with an Alternative Break. Come with us to San Francisco, CA, where we’ll volunteer with GLIDE’s Daily Free Meals Program, the Waller Urban Retreat Center, & the Haight Ashbury Food Program while learning how local organizations are working on community-based food access. We’ll also set aside a day to explore the city’s iconic landmarks and unique neighborhoods. Applicants who are accepted will commit to attending two meetings in advance of the alternative break to learn about the issue topic and the root causes of the work that they will do.
