"The Hero's Journey": Writing workshop sponsored by USU Writing Center and Logan Library


The Cache Valley Community Writing Center and USU Writing Center present a free September Writing Workshop: "The Hero's Journey" with Jack Bylund. Workshop is 5:00-6:00 PM, free one-on-one writing tutoring available from 6:00-7:00 PM.

Poetry reading by Rob Carney


Reading by poet Rob Carney, the author of three books and three chapbooks of poems, including 'Weather Report' (Somondoco Press, 2006), 'Story Problems' (Somondoco Press, 2011) and 'Home Appraisals', which is forthcoming from Plan B Press this fall.
Carney will also read at Helicon West that same day, Sept 12., at 7 p.m., at Logan Library. Open mic.

Helicon West Poetry Event with Open Mic: "Ruin and Light" with poet Danielle Beazer Dubrasky

Special Event

Helicon West, in conjunction with the Year of the Woman, presents "Ruin and Light" with Danielle Beazer Dubrasky. Free, uncensored, open microphone, and Caffe Ibis coffee.
Dubrasky directs the Grace A. Tanner Center for Human Values and is an associate professor of creative writing at Southern Utah University.
