Evaluation

Evaluation word art

Evaluation is an important part of any good program. You may choose to enroll in the evaluation component as a part of your CCAMPIS application. Choosing not to participate in the evaluation portion of the program will NOT affect your eligibility to receive a CCAMPIS subsidy.

Two Important Reasons to Evaluate

  1. Maintain Funding: The CCAMPIS program is funded by the US Department of Education. Funding is reviewed and renewed on a yearly basis. Parents’ involvement in evaluation helps CCAMPIS maintain program funding from year to year. Without your participation, it becomes more difficult to justify why CCAMPIS funding should continue to be provided at USU.
  2. Improve the Program: It’s difficult to decide the best way to support student families. Your responses help CCAMPIS understand what avenues are most effective and where services might be more useful in the future.

Who’s involved? Parents!

When you agree to participate in the evaluation portion of the CCAMPIS program, you will be e-mailed a link to an online survey. The survey will ask about some of the stressors you may experience as a student parent. Participants generally take between 30 minutes to one hour to complete the survey.

Other things you’ll need to know

Confidentiality

Responses and results will not be shared with anyone. All data will have identifiers removed before being analyzed.

Change your mind?

You are welcome to skip any pieces – or withdraw entirely – from the evaluation portion of the CCAMPIS program at any time. Your decision to participate in the evaluation portion of the program will NOT affect your childcare subsidy.

Diagnoses

The information gathered through the CCAMPIS research is for EVALUATION ONLY. The tests are not for the purpose of clinical diagnoses.

If you are already enrolled in the CCAMPIS program and would like to become a part of the evaluation portion of the program, please email anne.reither@usu.edu for a copy of the informed consent.
