The CRRG is a diverse, 15-person team of scholars engaged in timely, provocative research on the river system. We approach this research from various disciplines in the social, physical, and biological sciences, as well as the fields of water law and public policy. We seek to harness this work to facilitate grounded, forward-looking approaches to governance and management of the river dubbed “America’s Nile.” At the heart of this effort is the belief that rigorous, engaged scholars and scholarship add value to policy dialogue.
