XMorph keeps elements as elements and attributes as attributes, though if an attribute is transformed to have children, it is converted to an element. Elements can be forced to become attributes using an ASATTRIBUTE transformation.
Since only one attribute with a given name is allowed, the other children become elements (cannot be forced to be attributes).
