Since August 2022, I have been on leave (without pay) and working full time in the School of Computing at the University of Utah. Here is my new homepage.

Brief Bio

I joined the Department of Computer Science, Utah State University in 2012 as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2018 and to Professor in 2022. I received my Ph.D degree in Computer Science from University of Notre Dame, Indiana, USA, in 2010. I received my M.S. degree in Computer Science from Fudan University in 2006 and B.S. degree in Mathematics from East China University of Science and Technology in 2003, both in Shanghai, China. Before joining Utah State University in 2012, I served as a research assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at University of Notre Dame from 2010 to 2012.

Research Interests

My research interests include computational geometry, algorithms and data structures, theoretical computer science, etc.
