Lesson 3: Basic Concepts (Review)

Objectives:

You will review the procedures to solve basic equations and inequalities using the quadratic formula. With the trace feature of your graphing calculator, you can find, approximately, the maximum or minimum value of a function. Equations and functions are used to describe or model real-world applications. The mathematical solutions are then interpreted.
