Polynomial functions of degree n are defined. You can examine their graphs by choosing the best viewing window with your calculator. Combinations of polynomials (sums, differences, products, quotients, composites) are studied. In addition, you will find the zeros ( x-values where p(x) = 0 ) of a given polynomial by factoring and using the zero-product rule. Zeros, maximum values, minimum values, and turning points are investigated using the trace feature of your calculator.
