MATH 1050 Lesson 13

Lesson 13: Polynomial and Rational Functions

Objectives:

A rational function is just a quotient of two polynomials. By finding the zeros of the numerator you can locate the zeros of the rational function. By finding the zeros of the denominator you can determine the asymptotes for the rational function. You must choose your windows on your calculator carefully in order to view an accurate graph of a rational function.
