The first page shows overall current estimates: CLOUD COVER, SNOW COVER, MEAN TEMPERATURE, MEAN DEWPOINT, MEAN PRESSURE and MEAN WIND SPEED compared to the estimates 24 hours ago. The statistics is calculated each hour and very new.
On this page, there is a main menu for detailed reports: CLOUD COVER, PRECIPITATION, SNOW COVER, TEMPERATURE, TEMPERATURE CHANGE, TEMPERATURE ADVECTION, DEWPIONT, PRESSURE, PRESSURE CAHNGE, WIND, HEAT INDEX, AND WIND CHILL.
The similar graphs and ways of analysis are used for every item in the menu. we can get bright color graphs of current estimates for all united states. Different colors represent different estimates. The graphs are updated each hour. There are 24 images for past 24 hours we can take a look and compare. For the past 10 days, there is a chart indicating the mean, maximum and minimum estimates. Some 10 highest and 10 lowest estimates are shown since 01/01/1999.
I don't like PRECIPITATION and SNOW COVER. First of all, these stats are not reliable, because large errors may exist in data and then we should use with caution. Secondly, the chart is not clear to me.
Because this page presents United weather as a whole, statistics on weather for a specific city will not be found here. Sometimes, we are more interested in weather forecast, but this page doesn't give us the forecast. This page is only the whole current and archived weather statistics of United States.
