Homework 3:

Locate a Web site that provides us with information on unemployment rates in Utah

I started at the fedstats webpage and used their search engine:

http://www.fedstats.gov

The search brought me to a page on Labor force statistics from the Current Population Survey :

http://stats.bls.gov/cpshome.htm

This took me to a site that provided a table of civilian labor force and unemployment by state and selected areas:

http://stats.bls.gov/news.release/laus.t03.htm

I found that searching the web without using a search engine was more time consuming than I expected. The search engine in fedstats was quite efficient, and I found information on unemployment in Utah quite quickly, but I attempted to find information on more obscure topics without using a search engine and found this difficult.
