3. Locate a web site that lists earthquakes in Utah since 1990.

Well, I thought this would be easy. Since my group wasn't researching fedstats, I went there immediately. Then went to agencies, found U.S. Geological Survey in the alphabetical listing and clicked there. But, I was lost here for a very long time. I finally was reading through a page for earthquakes in Utah and found the University of Utah referenced, so clicked on this link.

Once at the University of Utah Seismographic Studies page, I went to "Earthquake Listings & Maps for the Intermountain West," then to "Utah Region" which finally brought me to the following web page: www.seis.utah.edu/catalog/utah.shtml. This site has a listing of earthquakes for Utah by year starting with 1989 and going through 1999 at the very bottom of the page. =20

Phew! This is what I have always hated about the web--a search that should be easy never is! You get lost so easily. I have always found it so difficult to deal with.
