Interstat:
http://interstat.stat.vt.edu/InterStat/intro.html-ssiInterStat is a website where one can publish or read about any aspect of statistical research or innovative method. This is a pretty good website however easy to access. One don't need to subscript to view the paper.
The home page is easy to understand. To read the paper one needs readers loaded in the computer. There are two links to free readers. There are Instructions for Prospective Authors. To view the paper, we need just click on the bottom of INDEX BY YEAR. Then the years appear. It is from 1995 to 2000. Click on one of the year, say, 1996, we have 4 issues that year, click on May, we see there is one paper listed. Click on the title, The abstract of the paper appears. There are links to the author and editor. To read the paper, choose one of the form of paper, which is dependent on the readers available in local computer. Then the whole paper appears, we are able to read it. The pictures are colorful however not interactive.
There is no links of references. On the abstract page of the paper, the link to errata is also available.
If we are interested in papers in one specific area, say Bayesian, then we could use the search engine in the Homepage of Interstat. Type in the keyword and return, the search results appear. We can choose any paper listed in this page.
In general, this website is pretty good. It is easy to read the paper. It is free for the reader. A small charge to the author. The speed of download is very fast. It is userfriendly that no complex structure involved in the site. This site use English, no translation to foreign language. The disadvantage are: There are only a small quantity of papers published here. Only six years(1995~2000) available. In most issues, only one paper is listed. The Data files are not available in the paper. I think probably it is because this site is not very popular. Perhaps in the future, it will get better.
