• 1) Please work on the following textbook exercises in Moore/McCabe/Craig:
  
  
  • Exercise 1.34, 1.41, 1.43, 1.46, 1.56, 1.60 (4 points each)
    
    Try to use a computer and software of your choice where possible. Include printouts and/or screendumps of your results. Hint: You can create a time plot via the "scatterplot" option where you display time on the x-axis and the variable of interest on the y-axis.
    
    The data are available from the links below. Cells in each row are separated by "tab". Note that Exercises 1.43 and 1.74 (in Homework 3) use the same data set. Alternatively, there are Excel (xls) files provided for some data sets where the txt format caused problems to CrunchIt in the past.
