Granite, steel, bronze, 8' x 8' x 65.5'

Tools of Agriculture is located just north of the Agricultural Sciences building. Featuring bronze panels on a granite wall, the sculpture is a memorial honoring the lives of students and staff from the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences who died in a car accident in September 2005. While driving back from a class fieldtrip to Tremonton, Utah, a tire from the group’s passenger van blew out, causing a roll over. Two students survived the fatal accident, but the remaining eight students and the instructor perished. Each of the bronze panels represents one of the deceased, and if you look closely, you can see their initials within the panels.
