Workshops

  • URCO Workshops are offered by the Science Writing Center at the beginning of each semester. Workshops are up to an hour long. Schedule a workshop session at any stage of preparing your application:
    • Reading and discussing examples of successful applications
    • Brainstorming research ideas
    • Getting feedback on your resume or curriculum vitae
    • Reviewing drafts of your research proposal
    • Reviewing drafts of your education plan
  • A workshop series for the NSF GRFP is hosted by the Science Writing Center each fall.
  • Workshops to help with graduate school essays take place each November.
  • Workshops for medical school applications take place in March and April.
