Ashley Child - April 2021

Ashley Child has been named April 2021 SEA Employee of the Month! She serves as the Business Manager for Technical Education located on the Blanding campus and was nominated by her colleague Heidi Thompson.

Heidi noted that Ashley came on board during a critical time for the ASTE department. They were preparing to split into two units, ASTE and AVTE, and integrating a large amount of CTE courses into the AVTE side of things. Ashley served as the "boots on the ground" and was a "vital financial resource to those working in the Price, Blanding, and Moab campuses."

Heidi mentioned Ashley's outstanding customer service skills, her contagious smile, her enthusiasm, and her positive spirit, bringing all of these to bear for dynamic and complex projects. She also indicated that "Everything she touches is thoughtfully measured. She not only takes into consideration her portion, but how it will affect people and projects down the road."
