Rob Griffin - July 2020

Rob Griffin, with Extension Youth Programs, was chosen as the Employee of the Month for July 2020. He was nominated by Dave Francis who had this to say about Rob:

"Rob is the most productive member of the Extension Youth Programs team. He works tirelessly to provide support to not only faculty and support staff located on campus and in the 28 Extension offices around the state, but assists parents and volunteers of 4-H members that ask for assistance in enrolling in the 4-H Program or registering for an event. Rob manages all aspects of the enrollment system for over 10,000 youth and 2000 volunteers including managing background checks and monthly finance transfers. The quality of work he produces contributes to the overall program run smoothly. Rob is the reliable and dependable. We can count on him to always complete a task and often times go above and beyond to serve the department. One of the best aspects of Rob’s work is his willingness to take on new tasks that will better connect the pieces of our department. Rob is a person that seeks to understand those he works with. He fosters espirit de corps in the department and actively identifies ways to increase inclusion of all members of the department.  Rob Griffin is an outstanding employee of Utah State University. He works tirelessly and is always pleasant and helpful."
