Student Affairs & DEI Marketing and Communications Director
The Marketing and Communications Director is an active member on three teams: The Division of Student Affairs, Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and University Marketing and Communications (UMAC). This position manages the relationship between the division departments and UMAC. The director does this by communicating and strategizing marketing and communication needs and goals with departments and then planning and collaborating with UMAC co-workers to accomplish and provide marketing and communication materials and assets.

Assistance with creating promotional materials including print, digital, and social.
WebsitesAssistance with major updates, transition to new template, creation of a new website, and more.
Social Media StrategyAssistance with social media strategy and plans, creation of content calendars, collaborating with central social media, and social media ads.
Photo and Video
Planning and coordinating high-level shoots and videos with UMAC photographer and videographers.
Press Releases and ArticlesGathering information and working with the communications team to write and create digital releases on UST and pitch stories to other media outlets, etc.

At this time, the services, creation, and distribution are at no cost to you.
The printing of print materials and running of digital and social media ads will cost depending on what you are printing or how long you'd like your digital and social ads to run and the budget you have.
Video is the one exception. We only create 1–3-minute videos. If it's longer than 1-3 minutes or a long series of videos, we'd work with Student Media. Student Media does cost, but departments in the Division receive a discount.
