Engineering State is USU's four-day engineering-themed summer camp. Register online at estate.usu.edu

Engineering State at Utah State University, now in its 28th year, is a fun-filled 4-day, engineering-themed summer camp for students entering their senior year of high school. Participants explore how engineering has changed the world and learn about the seven areas of engineering offered at USU. Many former participants go on to major in engineering and work in successful, fulfilling careers. Visit estate.usu.edu to register before March 31.

Engineering State 2019 is June 3–6 on the USU Logan campus. Students stay in dorms near the main engineering complex where most events take place. Registration is $250 and includes accommodations and all meals. Students should be between their junior and senior year of high school and have a strong interest in math, science and technology. Students must have at least a 3.0 GPA to attend. Space is limited so register soon.

Last year, 212 future engineers, including 58 young women, came to Logan for the four-day event that features hands-on workshops, tours of the Space Dynamics Lab and a barbecue bash at First Dam.

Attending Engineering State is like getting a taste of college life. You'll make new friends, experience new things and create lasting memories. On the final day, participants attend a catered awards luncheon featuring exciting guest speakers and prizes. All Engineering State participants are offered a $300 scholarship if they enroll in an engineering or computer science major at USU and stick with that program through their sophomore year.

Register for Engineering State online at estate.usu.edu.
