Celebrate the Tour of Utah but be Aware of Road Closures

Captain Steve Milne of the Utah State University Police Department provided this information on the coming Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah cycling event that takes place Monday, Aug. 3. The event will affect access to the Utah State University campus via 400 North/U.S. Highway 89 at various times during the day.

The Utah State University Police Department, in conjunction with Logan City Police and the Utah Highway Patrol, has issued the following road closures for Monday, Aug. 3.

All entrances/exits to Highway 89/400 North will be closed to ALL traffic entering or exiting Highway 89/400 North between 8:45 a.m. and approximately 9:30 a.m. and again from 1:30 p.m. to approximately 2:15 p.m. for the cycling event.

The campus entrances/exits affected by the road closure are listed below.

  • Entering and exiting Champ Drive
  • Entering and exiting South Campus Housing and Chase Fine Arts Center/Fine Arts Visual
  • Entering and exiting Brown, Blue East, Teal and Yellow parking lots on the south side of Highway 89
  • 1200 East and Highway 89
  • 1300 East and Highway 89
